Nausea

Nausea is the sensation of feeling sick to your stomach or feeling like you need to vomit. It can be caused by a variety of factors, including motion sickness, indigestion, medication side effects, and certain medical conditions. Nausea can often be relieved by rest, drinking fluids, and avoiding solid foods until you feel better. Some people find it helpful to eat small, frequent meals, or to drink clear liquids such as water or broth. Over-the-counter medications such as antihistamines or anti-nausea drugs may also be effective in relieving nausea. If you are experiencing severe or persistent nausea, or if you are unable to keep fluids down, it is important to seek medical attention.
